This is the eighteenth libretti volume produced by Professor Castel. Our current plans are to produce one more volume of Handel's libretti, but this does not preclude the possibility of doing more if conditions warrant it. The format is the same as for Professor Castel's previous libretti: IPA transcriptions; word-for-word English translations; literary translations to clarify any confusion which might result from unusual inverted word order of the literal Italian texts; and appropriate commentary.
